Job Description - Senior Quantity Surveyor - Doha, Qatar
An exciting opportunity has arisen, to work for one of the leading construction consultancies within the Middle East Region. This is a Senior Quantity Surveying position working out of their Doha office on large scale construction projects throughout Qatar. The successful candidate will join a successful and growing business in Doha with strong prospects for career progression.
Duties - Senior Quantity Surveyor - Doha, Qatar
This position requires a candidate with previous experience of working on large scale construction projects in the region, to join a growing commercial team within the business. The successful candidate will be involved in pre and post contract work on some of the largest projects in Qatar, reporting and assisting senior commercial management whilst being able to work under their own initiative and delegating work to more junior staff where necessary.
Experience Required - Senior Quantity Surveyor - Doha, Qatar
The successful candidate will have the following experience:
- Qualified to BSc / MRICS standard or both is essential. (Or similar Equivalents)
- Previous Middle Eastern experience is essential.
- An excellent track record of working for reputable construction consultancy firms, coupled with a continued periods of employment with single employers.
- Previous number of years experience of working on large scale (£50m+) construction projects. Within the Middle East region would be preferred.
- Excellent managerial skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. Both written and verbal.
