Senior/Managing Estimator Job Vacancy in Qatar, Middle East
Project Details/Scope of Estimating Job Role in Qatar:
To work on detailed estimates on both building construction and civil engineering /infrastructure projects in Qatar.
To support the Qatar based work winning team in the creation and submission of tenders based from estimates that are correctly priced to both win work on the basis of competitive tender and that allow an adequate profit margin. This construction estimating role offers the opportunity to join an international contractor at the initial stage of their push to win work in Qatar after many years of successful trading elsewhere in the Middle East.
Qatar Based Senior/Managing Estimator Job Duties
This is a hands on Senior Estimator / Managing Estimator role which will will evolve into a mainly estimating management role once additional more junior members of staff have been recruited in due course.
The main duty initially will be to price labour/plant/materials elements accurately and from using the conventions of the discipline.
Clearly some knowledge or Qatar prices would be advantageous although not essential as the role will include the collation of prices from first principles and from live source data.
Build/Civils/Construction Estimating Experience and Qualifications Required
Suitable candidates will have extensive estimating experience with building contracting or civil engineering contracting companies.
Experience will have been gained with good calibre companies estimating large or major projects in the UK or overseas, ideally in the Middle East.
A professional qualification in construction is required to be considered for this role
