NORA Judges Make Maxim Website a Finalist

Maxim Recruitment has been announced as a short listed finalist for the National Online Recruitment Awards (NORAs). An independent panel of judges have slimmed down the numerous nominations to 5 finalists across a number of categories. Maxim Director Steve Thomas commented:
"We are very pleased that our site has been recognised by such a prestigious panel of judges. Our new website has been specifically designed to enable our clients and job seekers to communicate with us easily, and allow them to quickly find the information they need. With this new site we can guarantee to browsers that there are always live vacancies behind every job search option that appears on the screen."
The concept behind the website redesign was a desire to reintroduce human interaction into an increasingly impersonal method of recruitment.
"We see the internet connecting people together in order to build working relationships rather than to replace human interaction", said Steve
Steve Thomas and fellow director Mark Guthrie have over 12 years' recruitment experience in the Quantity Surveying, building construction and civil engineering construction sectors.
Although their clients include many leading national 'blue chip' building and civil engineering contractors and quantity surveying practices, their aim is to provide a personal service.
"By being approachable to potential job seekers in both online and offline environments, we can best help our clients get the staff they need. We must be on the right track as we are looking for extra staff ourselves." says Steve.
