Maxim is looking for recruitment consultants to manage new and existing professional/technical divisions in the booming construction recruitment sector in the UK and potentially in Dubai in the Middle East. We cover only managerial level construction professionals, and are suppliers to some of the biggest names in the national & international construction industry.
The Recruitment Consultant Vacancy We Have
Maxim Recruitment are seeking literate, degree qualified candidates that have solid IT skills. They will also demonstrate strong sales and marketing skills that will allow them to understand and fulfill construction employer and candidate expectations.
Previous experience in recruitment, a sales role or in the construction industry itself is preferred, although it is most important that you can show a committed & hardworking approach to your work. Both recent graduates with some vacation work experience and people with previous employment experience in recruitment or a related role in the sales or construction industry are invited to apply.
Recruitment Consultant Duties
Day to day duties will include researching, sourcing and interviewing candidates, canvassing, managing and developing client contacts, arranging job interviews, writing job vacancies, handling incoming telephone calls and visiting & entertaining both candidates and clients out of the office
The office atmosphere at Maxim Recruitment is one where trained staff will be left to manage their day and work in their own style without interference and unnecessary targets or micro-management.
Recruitment Consultant Training & Career Progression
One to one training and support will be provided as required during initial 3 month probation period, by a manager with over 10 years’ experience. Monthly ‘catch-ups’ reinforced by quarterly reviews will keep career progression targets fresh in the mind. The training and support provided is however no substitute for staff ability, and the confidence to work on your own initiative. It will be you that will deserve to be paid the highly competitive levels of sales bonus available each month.
