AQS jobs based in Central London and/or Reading. A leading construction contractor has a number of projects detailed below starting on site & requires additional Assistant Quantity Surveyors as a matter of urgency.
Current projects include:
Scheme 1 comprises extensions and refurbishment. Includes new swimming pool, conservatory, internal and external refurbishment.
Scheme 2 comprises refurbishment and extensions to residential listed building. Also includes the provision for infrastructure, site services and landscaping.
Scheme 3 comprises demolition and the construction of a part 5 and 7 storey building to provide retail, food and drink and office space with ancillary storage. Also includes the provision for infrastructure, site services, access and landscaping.
Scheme 4 comprises construction of a four-storey office building. Project will also include enabling works, infrastructure, landscaping, access, sewer systems and service engineering.
Duties: Full range of traditional QS duties including valuations, variations, dayworks & interim payments to subcontractors.
Experience required: Basic experience of the main contracting QS role is vital
Training will be given to develop & grow skills & competences
